The 2012 Watervale Riesling is now available. On the back of a great 2012 vintage in the Clare Valley, we are delighted with the result which shows classic Watervale Riesling characters and will be compared to the great Riesling years of 2002, 2005 and 2010.

2011 MasterChef Australia runner up, Michael Weldon will be wining and dining at clos Clare winery in South Australia’s Clare Valley as thecelebrity chef during the renowned Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend on the 19^th and 20^th of May 2012.

Join respected Australian wine identity Nick Ryan and the Barry Boys for a Riesling tasting exploring 3 decades of clos Clare Riesling from the famous "Florita" vineyard. Nick will guide you through 10 vintages of clos Clare Riesling from the inaugural 1993 vintage to the current 2011.

On Friday the 7th of October, the results for the 2011 Royal Adelaide Wine Show were announced. The competition entries in the Royal Adelaide Wine Show are judged by a team of high profile Australian wine industry representatives.

The 2011 clos Clare Watervale Riesling received a Silver Medal for the second consecutive year.

2009 MasterChef Australia finalist and owner of Andre’s Cucina and Polenta Bar, Andre Ursini, will be wining and dining at clos Clare winery in South Australia’s Clare Valley as thecelebrity chef during the renowned Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend on the 14^th and 15^th of May 2011.

The 2011 Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend is set to be another great weekend of celebrations around The Clare Valley. This year will be the fourth consecutive year that clos Clare has participated and we have a great line-up of food, wine and live music- including a FREE cooking demonstration from 2009 MasterChef Finalist and owner of Andre's Cucina and Polenta Bar, Andre Ursini.

In December last year, Mike Bennie from The Wine Front conducted a blind tasting of sixty nine 2010 Rieslings from around Australia. There were four 2010 Rieslings awarded 95 points including the 2010 clos Clare Watervale Riesling.

clos Clare has just joined the Great South Australian Wine Adventure. Created by The Qwoff Boys, Andre Eikemeister and Justin Dry, it is an interactive South Australian wine experience 

clos Clare has joined forces with former MasterChef finalist and owner of Andre's Cucina and Polenta Bar, Andre Ursini, for the 2011 Gourmet Weekend on the 14th of May. Andre will conduct two, different 1-hour free masterclasses where he will use local produce and draw on his Italian heritage to produce traditional, yet refined cuisine.
